Front cowling and chrome grill popped off...dragged a short way under Taxi. No damage except the Chrome on the grill is badly scratched and taken off at one spot. Taxi is a Fiat TW200. 2006. Thinks the Chrome grill was a special for this Taxi. Anyone know of another anywhere...or specialists re-chroming on plastic around....thanks

Chroming is mad dear & Gawd knows what Fiat will charge for this part. I'd probably try wrapping it with a chrome mirror vinyl wrap & see what the result turns out like. A roll of it is relatively cheap if it takes a few goes to get it right. https://goo.gl/YJ1EG0

Spray on chrome has come a long way in recent years, if you take your time and build it up slow you might do alright

I did think about that but as Andycab's grilled has been dragged down the road full of scratches & gouge marks, it would need to be sanded, filled, undercoated & sprayed. I thought the quickest and cheapest way would be to wrap it.

Yeah with wrapping you would still need the similar level of prep work but you could get away without being so fussy i.e just use 1 low grit paper as apposed to working it up to a finer grit

A change of direction, there's a company on Ebay called autolineaccessorieslimited who do chrome grilles for various vans, they don't have one listed for the Scudo but why not send them a mail.http://goo.gl/iQB7NV
