Fait scudo 2007 model glow plug light not working on dash I tested with plug in computer and it lights up its not heating glow plugs ,I have changed glow plugs ,glow plug relay the wiring going to glow plugs but still no joy van does start but a bit rough and white smoke for couple of minutes till engine heats up and runs fine I am now stuck for ideas what to try next

Silly question, have you tried a simple test for power at the plugs, and work back till you find it, could be as simple as a bad earth. ??

Hi. My glow plug heater only works below a certain temperature. There must be a temperature sensor in there somewhere perhaps that is faulty.
