I'm wanting to add a single rear seat, preferably a folding and quickly released one, in the back of my 2006 Scudo van.

Has anyone done this and has anyone got any recommends as to which seat to hunt for?

Thanks

Im also looking for an extra back seat, I want to put the swiveling front seats from peugeot 806(or similar) in front, and to make up for loss of one seat, put one swiveling seat in the back. Im not sure if suitable mounting points are retained in the scudo though.

Im also interested to know how hard it is to put in seats from an unrelated car, such as the ford galaxie, renault espace or whatever as this might make it easier to find some cheap and in good condition with nice upholstry.

There is a taxi version of these vans so why not look into what seats they use and fixings. Think the early models were called the E7 not sure if that name was moved to the newer vans. Me, i would just get a seat from a Transit of whatever and bolt through the floor. You may need to put a load bearing plate under with the bolts for the sake of the MOT. There should be a hole in the back somewhere for the seat belt as i said, there is a taxi version.

Don't know if it's of any help to anyone but I've just got a Front-centre seat from a Fiat Multipla. It folds up and has the seatbelt fully attached to it, so you don't need an anchor point.

Do they fit straight into the scudo? I expect it would take at least a little bit of modification

Don't know yet. It will bolt straight through the floor, with zero mods but I want to work out some kind of quick release fitting, for easy removal as it will only be an occasionally used seat.

How have you got on with this one matey ? I am thinking of doing the same in mine, although I'm not fussed about a quick release, just interested in the seat suitability.
Cheers

I've added a Renault Grand Espace in the back of mine. Folds, Lifts and folds on its self or has a quick release if you use the rails. Decided to go with these for the built in seat belt!
