This is a follow up to an earlier problem that got no answers.
As mentioned before, my temperature guage goes to full and back to 0 three times on switching on.
Now, after that, the temperature gauge starts at about 20 and gradually goes up as the engine warms up and fluctuates between 90 and 110 once at running temperature.
The important bit is that I have put a bluetooth analyser on it and been monitoring the engine temperature with that. The temperature rises up to 80 and maintains that at all times without fluctuating more than a few degrees.
The temperature sensor and ECU are clearly working correctly and I can now use the van by just having my phone monitoring the analyser but would like to get the gauge working again.
Does anyone know if there is a voltage regulator or something like that on the gauge that might be faulty.
