I am about to change the timing belt, now when searching for the correct parts I can not get a definate match, some sugest it's 141 tooth and some 144. what I would real like is the correct Fiat part number for this belt and pulleys, now could you help with this?

When ordering belt send reg no they will see if correct belt gates timing belt are good

I would normaly use the reg, to identify a vehicle when ordering new parts but my vehicle has been reregisterd in France and now will not show up on sites.

Take cover off timing belt and rotate it by hand and count the teeth is another way

Yea I supose I could take the cover off count the teeth, or find the belt number, but what I would realy like to do is complete the job once I start to strip it down, and save hours/time while the van is out of use.

Do not count on this. My dealers told me mine was 8 valve...ordering parts with VRN said its 8 valve...was not till it seized up and the cam cover had to come off my garage found it was 16 valve! Might be idea to find the engine number?

the 16 valve engine replaces the 8 valve engine from model year 2001 onwards
