Gear Linkage snapped today, managed to wobble gear linkage out of 5th to leave me 3rd and 4th.
Anybody got any tips on how to change it. Ordered a new one off eBay for £90 should arrive soon.
Not good weather in Cumbria for lying underneath a van!

Your looking at about 4 hours under the van and its fiddly as hell.

You're right, it was but only took three hours and lots of swearing!

Gearstick is as sloppy as hell...........

Not to bad, I used a long screwdriver about 15" to remove the clips that hold the cables in place , once the cables are changed, much easier with near side wheel removed, you can get to the clips from underneath and use the same screwdriver to tap them home.
strip the heater control dash panel and slacken off the dash around the gear lever to access the clip at the lever end.
