Hello everyone. While I'm really enjoying the versatility of my Scudo van, I'm not enjoying it's rather temperamental Italian reliability. I've noticed others with a similar problem but I haven't seen any solutions ..anyway..

2004 Scudo 2.0 JTD 8v
From cold start the ecu thinks the engine is overheating - warning light on dash, fan on, fault code for coolant temp circuit 1. Temp gauge slowly rises over about 20 minutes to read max. Only other thing is glow plug light takes much longer to go out than it did before.

The van is definitely not overheating - pipes are barely warm when I get to work (20 minutes drive). I've checked loom to ecu and replaced the temp sensor followed by clearing the code. Van drives fine with no loss of power, oil fine - everything else normal. I am now pulling my hair out (well if I had any)
Any help gratefully received thank you. Neil
