My 120 Jtd Van has covered around 50k, its a 57 plate, the problem I have is that when I press the accelerator for a split second nothing happens and then off it goes, it reminds me of a petrol engined car with a flat spot at low revs, any ideas guys ?

If you just toddle around the place at 20mph, chances are the catalytic converter could be partially blocked as these work best at high temperatures. Bring the van out on the motorway & give it a bit of a thrashing, see if that clears it & gets rid of your flat spot.

There are plenty of vids on YouTube to show you how to clean it.

Good idea to post any recent service work you've already carried out to remedy the problem otherwise you'll just have members advising you to check things you've already done which won't help solve your predicament.

yes I should of mentioned the Egr, no other work apart from servicing, I have had the van around 5 months and it has always had this issue
