Hi all, been quoted £180 to have cambelt, tensioners etc done on my 2001 scudo combi 2.0 JTD. Can anyone tell me if thats about the right price, cheap or pricy? Cheers

Make sure u get water pump done as well price ok

That seems very cheap - when mine was done in 2011 it was more like £300 (with some off 'cos the previous owners son worked at the garage).

Thanks for comments, I've had a look at the handbook and the belts should be changed every 120,000km or 75000 miles. I found out who had done the servicing for the old man who had it and they said everything was done at the correct intervals, my van is at 99000 so if I was a gambling man it should be good for a while yet! Hmm!! The garage knew both customer and van, the only thing I havent got is the service log which had a full set of stamps. Probably not worth the risk! Any thoughts anyone?

There's a time limit as well as a mileage limit. So it's due at 140,000 or what date?
