Hi
Due to problems with my odometer (not working ribbon damaged ) and the speedo dropping out and only haft the bulbs working I replaced the whole unit for £18 from a breakers yard all is working now, service indicator reset (thanks forum) bulbs all good ,and here it is BUT the odometer is now reading 130,000 what the donor car was not the 72,000 my van has done is there a way to reset it back
It,s going for the MOT tomorrow and would rather have it recorded as unknown than add 50k to the millage

Update: there is a way to do it but from what I have read it is like walking on hot coals and shaving with an old fashioned cut throat at the same time ,found a company on web about 40 miles away that can and will repair the whole cluster for £80 . Cartronics is the name can do most cars to will let anyone know how good they are next week
