Hi, as a new owner of yet another Fiat (2010 Scudo this time) I am wondering if the radio's are coded. I have several minor jobs to do in order to tidy the van up that involve either removing the battery or the radio.
Is there a reliable way around the code - if indeed there is one?
Thanks,

Don't think there is a code, wasn't on my 2010 120 anyway and I've had the battery disconnected a few times and had radio out and back in.

Thanks a lot - I might be brave a give it a try then. - The previous owner had hosed the inside down and the battery well had filled with water that I really need to clean out. I hoovered up most of it but it's still pretty skanky in there!

From memory there's a big earth near the battery under the wet sponge covered rubber, be well worth giving that a clean while you are in that area

Yes thanks - I noticed it and the sponge layer under the rubber was REALLY dripping and I was hoping that this would eventually dry out before it starts smelling mildewy. I was kinda hoping it was only wet near the battery "well" as I don't want to have to rip out all the interior to remove the mat in order to dry it out.
