Just behind the front wheel there is some sort of air intake. It looks to consist of a plastic cowl with maybe a radiator looking thing behind it. Anyway, over time it's been bent and twisted so every time I go over a hump, it gets the hump:D and makes a grating sound.
What is it and is it easy to replace?
Thanks

That is the diesel fuel cooler. The plastic cowling sometimes gets ripped off going through deep puddles...mine did, as a temp fix I secured the radiator cooler and fuel lines it to the under-body with cable ties...been like that for 2 years or so now with no ill effects...many say its superfluous in the UK climate...needed more in the equatorial climates...I believe them cos I'm a lazy fat bugger & cannot be asked to put that cowling on again...I was lucky, there was no fracture to the fuel lines...you decide!

Mines the same as andycabs came off so cable tied it on but no plastic cowel
