My Scudo EL 2002 have for some time had the annoying habit of unexpectedly dying while I'm driving it. So far the acute problem has been solved by a simple turn of the ignition key and it has restarted and allowed me to continue my journey.


I'm would much appreciate any input on how to solve this more permanently.

when was it last serviced

It had its basic service about a year ago

Had the same sort of problem a while ago, turned out to be the stop solenoid. Cost me £40 to get it fixed.

It was found after removing carbon part at bottom of solenoid and refitting it, the only way to stop my van was to stall it, not ideal though.
