Hi all, my Doblo is slowing dying at 12 years old, and I am considering getting a 2ltr Scudo. (i'm after a van, but I guess that doesnt really matter). What are they like after say 100k /120k?
are there things to look out for?
what are the known weaknesses?
Are they really expensive to maintain?

Or should I avoid and go with a Vivaro/traffic type thing?

All advice gladly recvd, many thanks
Woody

Hi
Mine is a 08 120 with 131k. It's a lwb with 7 seats, I've had it 2 years. The clutch gearbox is fine, engine pulls well, it does chuck out a little black smoke on hard acceleration, don't think it has a dpf. It has a small oil leak somewhere on back of engine that ends up on exhaust, not really a problem just annoying. Engine is good does 35 mpg if driven sensibly. The lwb can take a good load. Mine has not had a hard life and has been looked after. Most will have been neglected, the trafic/vivaro are wider vans, they look good but do have problems. Body on scudo is good, underneath wears well. Only problem with mine is arb bushes and a side door slider, it's currently in the French alps. I think the scudo is a reasonable van, get the 120 without the dpf and buy wisely, they are not expensive. You can have mine for £4k no vat but you will have to wait until the end of September when it returns to the uk. Good luck.
