The near side air suspension bag fell off my 140 last night on my way home! Cost for new bag from main dealer £200+ then the labour on top to fit it. Ooooouch
Would it be cheaper to convert to coil springs as the air suspension isn't required and is a bit unreliable. Any advice would be welcome.
Thanks

Yo,
Got a WAV with air suspension, working OK at the moment but drops down when parked up,
Slight air leak from the sacs, as all is OK at the moment my plan is to convert back to coil springs when system goes faulty, ££££££££££££ to repair!
So i'm on the look-out for cheap bits!

Same thing happened to me. £300 later bag replaced. Worked for a while. Now getting intermittent warning light on dash. Will be changing to standard springs but need to know how easy to do myself. I believe you just neef springs and spring seats. Anyone done this? How easy and how much?

Got 2 air springs for sale. Converted to standard springs. One defo good. Other 99% certain its good. Problem was compressor not kicking in.

I did a rear air bag on a expert it was £120 and around 15mins to fit
if that helps
