Hi
I have had Airbag light staying on for a few months now . MOT due next month so have to find a solution by then . I have tried a second hand pretensioner which didnt work . Traced wires under seat . Nothing is working . Has anyone out there got any more ideas I can try . Andycabs how did you get yours off ?

No fault codes are coming up . I have a RAC scanner which has worked for me in the past . Theres a warning on the display about the light staying on so have to fix it somehow

had a kangoo with the same problem it was the connections under seat I cut these off and soldered wires together no problem now

RAC scanner is engine only, won't do the airbags, you need to take it somewhere that can read the airbag code, otherwise you'll just be stabbing in the dark when trying to resolve.

Took the bulb out the dash! :D

My 2004 one had a broken "clockspring" after a steering rack change... there's a thread on it.

Does anyone know where the airbag module is on the Fiat Scudo 120 multijet 57 reg or how to remove the middle section of the steering wheel where the airbag is to change it . Could take bulb out of the dash but will the display still come up that there is a fault on the airbag .

Does anyone know where the Airbag module is on Fiat Scudo 120 multijet 07 ?

Had a diagnostic done on it and they said it was airbag module . I eventually found it between the seats underneath the hump . Changed it and its still on .Any ideas !!!!

1. how sure can you be the replacement module is not faulty?
2. Remote possibility that they did not clear the fault off the ECU memory.
3. I think even after fault is cleared the warning light remains on until a number of ignition starts is reached...not a scooby how many though.
4. I have heard of the light being on if seat belts are not in use?

I had the airbag module changed with a second hand one so you could be right I'm no 100% sure what car it came out of etc . I have thought of calling diagnostic guy back to see if he could clear it now . Being a taxi we don't wear seat belts but there's a seat belt clip in the holder I bought on ebay . I have changed the electric clip as well before having a diag on it because thats what it was on a mondeo I had . The part I changed was the airbag ECU module .

i have a 06 scudo ,also had problems with the airbag light ,till i took a look at the indicator stalks ,remove the casing around [two torex screws underneath ] you will see a black ribbon cable running to the airbag the block becomes dislodged from what i seen if you ajust the steering wheel . click it back and" hay presto "the light is reset .
give it a go .
cheers
