Hello everyone. I need a new hose for my 2001 1.9 non turbo. Its the one that goes from the expansion tank down to a 'hose junction' at the back of the block, low down on the driver side. Its about 18" long with bends and kinks in it. Got it off no problem but where the hell am I going to get one on a Sunday?? Anyone know if it is a dealer part or factors, or god forbid, Halfrauds?

Well I was unable to find a new hose today so have temporary repaired mine and re fitted it. There is also a leak from the plastic hose junction at the back of the block. According to my Haynes citroen diesel manual, it is called a 'rear coolant gallery'. It has 4 outlets. One goes to the expansion tank, one to the radiator bottom hose, one goes into a metal pipe off towards the passenger side of the engine, (heater possibly), and the remaining one is blanked off with a rubber stopper. It is bolted to the block but can't see how you remove it as you cant even see the bolts from below or from behind the o/s wheel. Anyone ever removed one? Incidentally, it is in the Haynes book in the ' dismantling the engine after removal' section.
