Hi, I've had a scudo L2/H2 120 comfort van in silver for a couple of years now (reg 57).
Problems are now becoming more frequent and the van is now starting to squeeze money from me at an alarming rate.
Advice on a couple of issues please. The vehicle has an auto headlight function fitted, however when this is selected (even when its completely dark) the dash lights up, message appears auto lights active but no light emits from the headlamp unit (yes Ive changed both bulbs) the lights work on main beam and High beam but not on sidelight duty (first click on the stalk)
Also how easy is it to replace the front foglight on these vans? quite handy on the tools, but any advice would be appreciated.

Replacing the foglights is very easy, under front of van directly under the foglight look up and you will see 1x10mm bolt at bottom of light. remove that bolt and light slides out. As for the sidelights, think I would maybe try the stalk 1st, just a thought as the stalks are known to have faults.

Many Thanks, Are the "stalks" seviceable? Are you able to strip and clean contacts etc?

No, the only way is by replacment. Just thinking about this, If this is an aftermarket fittment there is usualy an inline fuse between the control box and the lights. 1 fuse for side lights and another on the line for low beam. Might be worth checking the wires comming from the control box 1st.

Hi, I have a 59 plate Scudo van and have damaged the passenger headlight, anyone know how to swap it? There is a panel underneath that I can't see how to remove!:worship:
