The central locking does not work on either of the sliding doors any ideas on what to look for or how to fix. Its a 53 JTD

Hi. I had the same issue. The doors will lock manually with the key but not with the remote? I took off the door panel and found that the metal bar which connects the locking mechanism to the central locking unit was broken. (The small thin metal bar has a plastic fitting at one end,it had snapped.) Hav'nt sorted it yet but at least I know the prob.

I have the same problem on a 06 plate, anyone know where i can get the little plastic clips from?

Can the same happen to the manual door lock? I have an 03 plate 3 door, remote fob works fine but the manual door lock doesnt work (key just turns ajd doesnt unlock) spent over an hour stripping the door and couldn't get the big metal plate off (i removed the door ecu and motor but the panel wouldnt budge with all 10mm hex bolts removed) stuck when my remote fails again

a quick update, i bought some clips from e-bay but they were a bit big for the holes in the actuator so i drilled the actuator hole out a bit and all seems fine. if anyone is interested i sort out the part number.
