Hi All

I'm having a bugger of a problem trying to remove the plastic air intake manifold from the top of the head.

It's a 54 plate 1.9d non turbo.

I'm trying to replace a leaking rocker gasket.

So far I've took out the air filter box and released the expansion tank.

I've removed 3 star bolts so far just under the housing and there seems to be a central bolt that I can't get to.

Am I missing something here, is this supposed to come off easy or not?

I've got the van in bits on the drive lol

Any advice would be great.

Ok I've found and released the bolts holding the plastic manifold air intake to the head.

However I still cant pull it off. Are these usually tight where they join the manifold pipes?

Done and dusted.

Help also haveing problems with my 2002 1.9 non turbo was going to change glow plugs but cant get air intake manifold off removed the four bolts but it wont budge its solid what am i missing?
