hi i have a scudo 2000 jtd van 8 years old , van idels but as soon as i drive away 500 yards up the road it cuts out after 5 minutes will do the same agian can anybody help

Sounds like a fuel problem - probably the fuel pump starting to fail.

Just because there is fuel at the 'valves' doesn't mean there's enough when the engine is running hard (revving).

A sure sign of fuel pump problems is that the pump works ok at idle but can't push enough fuel when the engine is going faster.

Check the fuel filter too.

second opinion , I would agree with kellys eye on this one, The pump has a high presure sensor on the back which is known to fail. The cost of the sensor against the cost of the pump, you are better off buying the pump (comes complete) unless you are sure it's just the sensor but i know of no way to test them.
