| Changing the cambelt Are there any do's and do'nts for doing this ? Is there any special tricks I should know etc ? Replacemet intervalls ? Never having done this on a Fiat and having owned my Scudo for over a year I think it is time to replace the belt befor it breaks on it's own. Thanks in advance.

| Re: Changing the cambelt Hi there its Linden, i changed my cambelt at 70000 miles. Dont atempt it unless you are competent. Bottom pully wont undo without a nut gun, cam timing is timed by inserting a 7mm bar through the cam pulley into a locating hole. Be ultra careful when fitting new belt that you dont break the cam sensor which is fitted on top of the rocker cover, if you do it is a part of the rocker cover & cant be purchased seperately. Good luck
