| MOT failure My 97 TD failed its MOT today. Emmissions-that will get sorted tomorrow, Worn ball joint which I have bought and will fit tomorrow AM early. And NO ROLL BAR on front. I don't think there ever was one but the tester said the brackets were there so the bar should be there!!! Does anyone know about this. He told me if I can provide something in writing from Fiat he will let it go. Or failing that- cut off the brackets!!! No brackets so no missing roll bar!!! Can anyone suggest who I can speak to at Fiat to get this in writing? Mike

Okay I decided to remove brackets. Unfortunately the brackets have captive nuts so I had to locate new nuts and washers. They are 12mmx 1.25 super fine threads so don't bother with Halfords. Its an easy job if you have to do it. Mike
