want to get there before 2008

any one help my 2001 2,0jtd keeps cutting out at no particular interval if you then pull in and try the key a few times once you hear a buzz from the fuel tank it starts no buzz no go happy 2008 to every one hope i get to the party

my fiat man put it on computer thinks it may be water in conections as lots of errors came up so were disconnecting battery and cleaning and checking every thing one error he could not delete was brake signal should my van have a brake pedal to ecu switch the wires are there but no switch

brake switch wouldn't cause those symptons....if the connector on pump is ok its likely (assuming correct supply at pump) the pump is on its way out.

it will be the feeder pump from the tank not uncommon to go wrong

nor is swarf getting into filter/rail/HP pump
