Scudo Alternator change

I've got a scudo 2.0l JTD y reg 2001

got a new alternator on the way (pretty confident mine's on the fritz) so my question is what do I need to look out for removing the old one and refitting the new one, and tensioning the drive belt. the top bolts seem pretty inacessible due to the siting of the power steering pump

any hints and tips would be useful (used to do a lot of car repairs and servicing 20 years ago when I had no money...I'm twenty years older now still got no money)

thanks

A.J.
