I had exactly the same problem and I thought there was a bug in the system since it updated.

Anyhow I have come to discover that it is not a bug at all. It can be fixed easily!

What appears to have happened is I had turned down the volume for the spoken instructions using the volume control on steering wheel. Thinking this would turn down my music...an easy error to make!

This then had turned down the warning sounds for speed cameras and the turn by turn instructions.

So if you have the same problem you need to press the volume button the moment she starts speaking otherwise the control automatically changes back to audio music volume control.

Very simple fix but it has taken me ages how to work it out as there's not setting for such in the settings menus for ether general or sat nav. I also didn't know that turning the volume down would turn down the warning sounds for speed cameras.

I'm very happy that it's working loudly again now as I really thought there was something wrong! Hope my solution helps someone else.
