I need the Germany SD map card for my 500 dash mount Blue & Me Sat Nav as I'm planning to drive over to Dusseldorf at the beginning of April. According to the Fiat 500 Accessories catalogue, the part number is 71804257. I've spoken to the parts departments at my local Fiat dealer. They have told me that this card has been replaced with a new card containing Germany plus two other countries (Italy and Switzerland?) and now costs £55. I really don't want to spend this much money for two maps that I don't want or need.

Anyone know if this information is accurate? Anyone know where I can still buy the 71804257 Germany SD map card?

I've just returned from Germany. The 500 B&M Map SD card supplied by my local dealer is a new(ish) card, simply labelled "Mid EU". I didn't travel far enough to test the full coverage, but it worked absolutely fine from leaving the ferry terminal at Dunkirk, up through northern France and along the E40 and E34 through Belgium, Holland and into Germany. The B&M lady guided me through some complicated road junctions in Antwerp and Dusseldorf, and actually got me to my destination on Peter-Muller Strasse (a newly constructed road alongside the airport) without drama. The map files on this card are dated July 2010, so some sort of update has obviously been carried out. I understand that updated UK & Ireland maps are now included in a "Southern EU" card, but I have no idea what other countries are included.
