Medion SatNav for £43

I don't know if it's any good (anybody used one?) and it looks like £80 extra for European map but it's amazingly cheap for UK SatNav

Re: Medion SatNav for £43

halfords are selling units like these for the same sorta money, cheaper i think in fact. there is a very good reason, theyre useless, theyve sat in the cabinet for months and anyone who asks about them, we tell them the truth, show how poor it is and then it sits in the cabinet until its threw in the bin. save yourself the money

For an extra £20 you can get one from ebuyer which runs windows .net 5 which will with very little effort run tomtom . So you basically getting a tomtom with full europe mapping for £65 (if you download tomtom illegally of course ).

Re: Medion SatNav for £43

it really depends on what you want. if anyone tells me they want to spend as little as possible then i would usually sell them navmans, the f90 is about 80 - 90 and its mapping is about the best you can get. good well established company building good quality unit with fantastic maps, once you go above that either garmin or tomtom depending on the features you want. there are ways around things like what chris is saying but this is crossing your fingers and hope it works because the manafacturer wont cover it if your not running their software

You are a bit of a poor salesman.

However for a alternative opinion i own a medion sat nav and i cannot fault it, it has never let me down

Re: Medion SatNav for £43

a poor sales man?
my figures disagree plus whenever a customer leaves they leave with a quality product so we dont have 2 argue a month down the line.
i have used the medion. i have dealt with manies a broken one, my opinions are based upon first hand experience
the medions are still there if you want them
