navman s30

just bought a navman s30 from ebay new £75 bargain( http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Navman-S30-GPS...QQcmdZViewItem ), ive heard gd things about it but has anyone on here got one/used one are they decent?

i love these units, we sell them in halfords for 100 quid which is a pure bargain in my opinion, all the accessories and its not as if the maps are poor, they use the same mapping system as tomtom (tho tomtom now owns it) so the maps are in the 97 -99% bracket which is exceptional for a sat nav. truth be it, whenever im demonstrating sat navs 2 customers, if a garmin doesnt find an address this usually does! good purchase

I looked at this unit.
I plumped instead for the s50 as I preferred the larger screen and the fact that Tesco have it just now for £114.
Also that the wife had £70 of club card vouchers which helped!!

thats not that great of a price. halfords sell the s80 for the same. euro mapping with bluetooth and you get to keep the widescreen good units all the same. just a tom tom in a different case tbh

I checked with my local Halfords and they had no stock of any Navman.
I just checked online and the only one Halfords have is the s30?
It was more to do with the Mrs having the Tesco vouchers more than the price but I notice that Amazon are selling at the same price. Oh I also got a 5p off a litre of fuel too which is a small bonus.

weve had s80's in stock for a few months, great unit but need a wee bit of work to get them working lol. well tbh with the vouchers and money off fuel it sounds like a great deal

Yeh not too shabby I thought.
Left me with only £44 to pay, minus a couple of ££ I will save the next time I fill up my Civic.
Oh and she got the points on her club card for me to spend on something else when she gets more vouchers!!!
