Garmin / City Navigator updates

ok well after a few days of messing about with file names and format i finally got it sorted last nite!
there is a windows batch file available that will automatically unlock any mapsource map on your computer so you can put it on any unit or card. very handy

there is 2 files which are only a total of 45kb so if its ok ill load it

terri passed her test now, so i not got her Garmin no more. it going to suck going back to the built into the car one

Just got a 200w from halfrauds . got to till have it was cheaper then the ticket !! result ! had a look on the website and couldnt get the speedcam to update ?? any ideas this one is million times better then my hp pocket pc with really old tomtom on thats not got most roads on lol

i think youve onli 30 days of updates, make sure you register your device then the option should be unlocked or you may have to claim for the 30 days when you register

if all else fails, garmins customer support is brilliant, pleasure to deal with. they will soon sort it out, i have a speedcam update on my pc but its a few months old now

That's to update the firmware of the Nüvi, not the maps or the POIs, but of course you will need WebUpdater.

To make space on your Nüvi, you better first backup it after connecting it to your PC, then you can safely remove all the language files for language you do not understand....
