Re: tomtom on an N73

Quick update on this.
The Holux 321 linked with my phone over bluetooth and to the satelites very quickly and with no problems at all. All you need to do is press one button!
I decided to see how good the tomtom 6 mobile was, so i put in a mates postcode and off i went. There are various routes to his house and i had assumed that it would take me the quickest way. I followed the voice as it made me turn around from the quick way that i know, i thought this can be right as it wanted me to go the long way.
I ended up at my mates house taking the long way (was 10 min late). I decided to take the quick way home, then i found out why the tomtom wanted me to go the long way in the first place, road accident.
Result! (for me, not for the people in the accident, btw no one was hurt) The tomtom had made me avoid the accident/road closure, and the Holux never once got disconected. I am going to see how good it is on a longer journey, its going to take me to the modified car nationals on Saturday. Fingers crossed.

Re: tomtom on an N73

do you subscribe to traffic alerts?

otherwise the tomtom wouldn't have known that there was an accident there...

also make sure you have it set to "fastest route"
