So of you may remember this, the Built By Robots Advert on TV in 1979:

Re: Strada Advert

seen it before, on TV aswell I swear, maybe a fiat or italian orientated program.

have you seen the 10minute Saab concerto before? There is some pretty hairy driving in that (including wiggling transporters, then two wiggling transporters loaded with saab 9k's, they tipped over one loaded with 9k's in the making too!), I think they ended using about 80 odd cars for it!

remember it well. fiat had large billboards by the road side with the strada picture. but people would add wording to the slogan;-
built by robots, driven by idiots

Re: Strada Advert

I think the early strada's look quite a lot like the renault twingo's.

I prefer the later ones before they seized production

Re: Strada Advert

Forgotten how 'different' the Mk I Strada/Ritmo looked! Car daint make to many of their owners sing for joy... unless you had just your 130TC tuned and the mack has just handed your keys back

Re: Strada Advert

A mate of mine had one of those AGES ago. No offence to anyone, but what a *&^! car they truly were.

Re: Strada Advert

The Stilo is sort of the great grandchild of the Strada i think:

Strada -> Tipo -> Bravo/a -> Stilo!

Does anyone remember the magazine adverts for the mk2 130TC ABARTH "This is the quickest hatchback in its class!" - or is it just me thats old and remembers that?
