Thanks for that. I noticed the 125tc on the bay also but the lhd aspect put me off. Integrale, Fulvia yes lhd all the way but don't think it suits the Stradas style would've considered it if would've been rhd. I wonder how many more will start to bob up now as personally I'm glad there are some left forgotten out there and not in the scrap pile. How come the 125tc's are so rare in the Uk (or are they) ? A good buy hopefully to be saved and not butchered as a doner.

125TC was never sold in the Uk thats why they are rare . I broke a white one back in 1994 and drove it before we dismantled it . I was not impressed as it was LHD and the gear linkage was awfull . Not much quicker that the MK1 105TC . Fiats excuse at the time was that it would take too much money to convert to RHD because of the four branch manifold which is nonsense . The 125TC and the 130TC manifold are the same .Yes its a rare car but there is £1000s to be spent to get it back into any sort of condition to sell on .

I understand what you mean, a shame and like somebody said previously to do these cars up is not economical but just for the pure passion of liking them. I've been quoted a £1000 for new original panels (rear wings, doors and wings) which seems expensive but not really when you consider the rarity of the parts plus £450 shipping !!. I'm in the bodywork industry so I can fabricate most myself but still undecided. What do you or others think ? I can get some non gen panels but don't really want to go down that road.

just cut the rot out and mig new in
you know what your doing:)
that car looks well by the way
non gen panels are never any good ever they just hold back time
glad you bought it and are willing to keep it as a user rather than breaker
its got loads of potential if the picturers are to be believed

Cheers S and B. I will probably weld up most but will decide when I strip her down properly. A bit of ocd kicking in, but would love to nut and bolt her and keep for ever.(a defo cert) Non gen panels ok for some jobs but would love new genuines where available to make sure gaps etc all right. In my eyes everythings saveable and mendable. Watch this space but for now a quick service and hopefully a MOT but if not then I'll take advantage of the trade plates and use a a daily smoker.
Hope people out there can and will save what's remaining out there.
