I'm having exactly the same issue on my 2014 Fiat Qubo 1.3 TD Multijet 16valve 75hp semi auto

I'm desperately trying to get rid of the air bag light and warning and flashing odometer which came on after I replaced the battery last week.

Reason for replacing battery was stop start was working intermittent, since changing the battery, that works fine but the new airbag fault has appeared. So I bought a MultiECUscan setup frome eBay, item number 121990469711 "ELM OBD2 4x ADAPTERS KKL for MULTIECUSCAN FIATECUSCAN DIAGNOSTIC LEAD ALFA FIAT" as my Delphi and WoW unit through up the message U1703 but would not remove it.

This is it and all instructions followed and still get the same message as your getting when trying to connect!

I have tried it on my Panasonic CF-27 running Windows XP SP3, on an old Dell running Vista and a high spec Dell XPS running Windows 10.

If any one is in South or West Wales and could get rid of this Air bag light and flashing miles, please help!!

Hi,
You seem to be referring to a different thread but I can't see which it is.
Are you getting a no interface found message or a ELM>ECU connection message?

yani any comment on current rash of ECU connection issues?

Robert G8RPI.

No interface found even though it is found in settings, it also says legacy too high but legacy set to 1. On test it sale everything ok but on connect, no ELM327 OBD/key to connect to this module. Lights on the adapter talk for a few seconds then go off, I've tried with yellow cable connected but still the same

Hi Frogsuk. These diagnostic devices are way above my pay scale, but I do read other threads on the forum and have noticed that issues can be fixed by disconnecting the battery, going into the house and having breakfast and a cup of tea and then reconnecting the battery ie an hour or so.
I know it's a long shot but you never know.
I hope I'm not trying to teach granny to suck eggs.

After advice from Yani at MutiECUscan in email, (BIG THANKS MATE and respect!)
Tonight I checked the wiring from the instrument cluster and managed to clear the fault. It was in the wiring on the fuse line for the cluster giving a low voltage and throwing up the fault. All clear now :) parts used 20cm of wire soldered in place and heat shrink to cover. Clear faults, proxi alinment not needed! All great. No thanks to Fiat dealer who left me high and dry when vehicle is still under warranty! And vehicle disabled adaptation specialist who said the fault was not theirs! Bloke in a wheelchair with a MultiECUscan and laptop and support from Yani got this sorted. Brilliant! Thanks :-D
