My brother-in-law is offering to sell me his 2011 Qubo MyLife, but I'm a big lad and I have a problem with armrests, even in the 'up' position. Basically they get in the way of my elbow when I try to reach for the handbrake, blocking me from moving my arm far enough backwards so my hand can grab it.

Is it possible to remove the armrest altogether without damaging the seat? And if so, does anyone have an ideas about plugging the resulting hole so it doesn't look too utterly dreadful?

hi,and welcome to FF, :)

if it pivots..then it's removable..;)

probably as easy to lift the cover of the "seat back", and see what fittings / structure is used.

Looking at ePER it looks like it's a pin of some sort that goes into the main seat and then a spring clip holding the arm on.

On mine, if you pull the arm rest away from the drivers seat, you can rotate it downward out of the way, saves totally disconnecting it...........to reconnect just put it in the correct position, and knock towards the drivers seat with your fist.......
Cheers Qube O.
