Hi

my Fiat Qubo is doing some strange things, saying 'warning low fuel' with half fuel tank or more, and 'check engine'?

Anyone who has seen this before?

When you hold a speed and then accelerates , then it hesitate slightly before accelerates.

PS. has run 287.000 km now :)

Best Regards.

/Kenneth

Hi Kenneth,

get the fault code read - the "check-engine" will have left a code related to a fault.., so helping diagnosis.

I think there was a known problem with the fuel gauge will look it up tomorrow as said drag some codes out of her and we will see what we can do

Hi

I was at the workshop yesterday ,and they said that the 'check engine' error code was a egr-valve , so now they have tried to clean it.
It still writes ' warning low fuel ' even on full tank, just with ignition on, and no engine running ? So that must be another error, but what?

If you got any info on the known fuel gauge problem K333fer, I will be glad :)

Best regards

The known fault in the fuel gauge is listed as a software issue in the body module tbh though yours sounds more like a sender problem

Hi K333fer

It was the Body unit software update (done by Fiat) that made the 'Warning low fuel' go away, after 3 days of driving it has not come back :)

And it is the EGR valve that is defect error kode P0401, so that will have to be cleaned or replaced.

Thanx for your help.

Best regards
Kenneth
