Hi all, tempted to get one of these for my 2012 Trekking. I know some of you guys have already invested in this (or similar) and I'm curious to hear how you're getting on. The power boost and/or economy would be nice but what I'm really hoping for is that it will cure the significant turbo lag below 1500rpm. I don't know if it's peculiar to the 95bhp engine but my car is absolutely gutless below this figure.

OK, so I've now purchased a tuning box, but I'm buggered if I can get to the fuel pressure sensor to fit it. How do you get the engine cover off? Some say you don't need to remove it but I can barely see the sensor far less remove the connector. Help!

its on the left hand side of the engine you don't need to get the cover off

2 nights I have been out at it :( it's barely visible on my car and certainly can't reach it. Maybe the design has changed.

1st impressions are a bit disappointing. Have only driven about 20miles but can't say I'm noticing any significant difference in power or mpg. Do these boxes work instantly or is there a period of miles as the ecu recalibrates? All advice/knowledge welcome :)

I always thought the ecu had to 'learn' that there have been changes or that there are differences should I say, which can take a few miles. I would've thought it should have settled by now though.
Try driving it again, silly as it sounds after being turned off it might have reset itself.

Hi,
If anyone has any issues with their insurance if they fit a tuning box or similar device then please feel free to drop me a line.
Regards,
Dan.
