Just getting to grips with my Qubo Mylife 95 manual, which now has 7000 miles up. I can see from looking around that many what many achieve in MPG for my vehicle is approx 50-54 mpg. I would describe myself as a very careful driver, with a light foot, and I always drive for economy. Most of my driving is mixed rural driving on A roads. ( No motorways here, and hardly even any dual carriageway). Most of my journeys are usually 20 to 50 miles, which does involve some hill work. But it doesn't seem to matter how careful I am, I just cannot get my MPG up over 52. I realise that all things are never equal with these things, but does anyone get anywhere near the official quoted figures ?

Town mpg 57.6
Out of town mpg 78.5
Average mpg 68.9

Our 95 is about 49 most of the time with reasonably brisk driving. No idea how they got such high official figures but the low road tax is welcome each year!

Just enjoy the car, handler well, never reacts badly to poor roads and predictable when you need to react. Our toddler loves the space and high seat in the back and the square shape means the shell has to bend a long way to hit anyone. I hit my head just nodding in most other cars.

We love the car too, and we're more than happy with it. As I'm tall that extra height is great, making getting in and out of the car so easy. Back to the official MPG.......I just read up on how they arrive at these figures, and can see now how unrealistic they are in the real world. Although I'd be interested to hear if anyone has hit them, or got close ? That said, I'm going to keep working at it, and just as a personal target, see how high I can get it. Not easy though in these mountains.

Thanks, just had a look at that site which lists the real MPG figures. For the 95 engine, it lists MPG figures between 44.6 to 55.1, which averages out at 50.9. Pretty much what I am managing at the moment.

95 multi, 41000, just done 610 miles on mix of roads after trip reset. The first leg was much of the A1 around speed limit, got 57. Rest of journey and back was mixed with long delays on way home, total average was 54. It has never been that good before. The day
before the trip had front tyres balanced and tracking adjusted for slightly heavy inner wear. Had it set to zero. Car has always handled and driven straight, still does. As another aside my ecu scanner shows the dpf regen is on average every 250 miles.
