The stop start facility does not work on my 2 month old 95HP diesel Qubo, it did not work after about 2 weeks of ownership.

The dealer could not find a fault apart from charging the battery overnight(I do regular long runs, so the battery should be fully charged anyway), the stop start worked once on the way home from the dealers(who really didn't want to know!), & has not worked for 3 weeks since.

The engine also revs above idle when going from 4th gear to neutral. Also the revs go up just before the clutch bite point when in gear & foot off the accelerator. is this normal?

So are you going from 4th to neutral and then coasting ? And yes it will pick the revs up when you let the clutch up its an anti stall system

Only noticed the 4th to neutral Rev up, by accident,i thought I had blipped the accelerator, I hadn't , revs up on its own when clutch released, repeatable most of the time, not sure it's a fault, just odd

Are you getting any messages on the dash ? And I know it's a daft question but I take it you doing the right things when you pull up ie out of gear foot off the clutch ?

No dashboard messages, in neutral, clutch out when stopped, engine never stops, A previous qubo I had with start stop worked fine(was the 75HP version)

I phoned the dealers this morning and they advised an overnight charge which they were happy to do for me.

It doesn't seem like this helps from what you've said or in your case.

I'd be inclined to get in touch with Fiat Customer Services, I think I may do this as well if a battery charge fails to rectify it.

Glad to hear you've got it sorted :) it's amazing how sensitive the ibs is , let's hope fiats stop start isn't as finnicky as the minis that won't work if there's less than 5 litres of fuel in the tank !!

can someone please tell me if you can turn the stop start off as I am about to buy a 2012 qubo Dura logic thanks

yes you can turn it off but every time you start the car it comes back on so
so you have to turn it off again

If like the early 500's then there is probably a software update to enable it to stay permanently off if required (y)

Ask the dealer on your next visit.

I'm all set to update all the software on mine tomorow night
(The joys of having main dealer kit at work ) will see what options it brings up when am doing it

Full scan done and no updates needed or fault codes logged :) I would say it's down to battery voltage mine only works after I've done a run at weekends normally

Kinda convinced it's a battery connection problem. Mine has been intermittent for the past year until a trip to Belgium seems to have fixed it. Had it switch on all the way to Dover, but wasn't working. Came off Eurotunnel in France only to ride over the rumble ramps, shaking the merry hell at of the 'ol girl which caused the engine to die with the warning "Stop start disconnected". Restarted engine and switched S/S on again. Been working perfectly ever since over the last 3 months.

Have you done many trips like the one to Dover in the year it was intermittent?
