Like all good things

Give it a little refining and bobs your uncle

I think it will work in the future

Re: Water instead of petrol?

if you want to run your car on water, stick a huge tank on the roof, then have a tube going down to turn a water wheel, connect the wheel to to drive train, on a FWD for example it is advisable to set it up to power the rear wheels, and vice versa. then fill up the water tank and off you go, you get at least another 2000mpg!!!

in fact i am so confident it is better than the rubbish on that website i'm tempted to set up my own website selling my wonderful advice.

The man in the youtube video on that site will likely end up being murdered.

I believe that was the fate of the last person that 'threatend' the oil companies with an invention like this.

Re: Water instead of petrol?

An American inventor called Stan Meyer was the proponent of all this water powered car ********. He died in mysterious circumstances and the conspiracy theorists had a field day. They blamed everyone from the oil companies to world governments for his death but the autopsy cited natural causes. His theories and claims regarding hydrogen power and fuel cells opposed just about every law of physical science that exist and were quickly dismissed as B-**** by leading experts and Engineers.

Wasn't joking. If you think I'm mad for suggesting it, which world are you living in?

These things happen, think about it. If everyone started using water as fuel, that leaves the worlds richest companies ****ed. Half the evil in the world is probably going to be oil related. Behind the scenes it's almost like 'co-operate or die'. Theres a nice big war going on in Iraq over oil. Why would topping some american bloke who 'thought too much' be such a big deal to goverment/oil companies/anyone else etc/.

You just have to make do with how the world is... cost of petrol rises, we moan but do nothing, cost of food rises, etc etc.

You have missed the point, it will never happen. The theory behind Meyers sytem has been proven to be flawed......in fact its total boll***s and will never work. Removing and seperating Oxygen and Hydrogen from water is easy, the hard part is doing it using less energy then you get by burning the resultant gases. No one has ever done it and no one ever will.......remember your physics lessons and the laws of thermodynamics?..... Specificaly the ones that say "Energy cannot be created or destroyed just converted from one form to another" and the bit that says "You cant get more energy out of a reaction/system than you put in"..........There is always someone prepared to put their faith in pseudosciednce and believe the hype.

Reminds me of the Simpsons when Homer said to Lisa

Re: Water instead of petrol?

ive just put this system in my car
its a bit rubbish though there is no longer any space for pasengers due to the size of the equipment the huge at tank in the boot/ and the space that was the rear seats.
its made running the car cheaper but iv run outa 50p coins to put in the bloody meter
acceleration when full seems to be ever so slow due to the weight
i have found a way to boost this though by adding a mixture of east mongolian tree rat urine and baking soda seems to act as an octane boost countering all weight to power issues

buy it trust me its the way forward

Re: Water instead of petrol?

I understand the logic of the OP on this, a bit off topic but close...

A guy devised a chip timer that fitted into an ordinary filament lightbulb, it timed the application of current to a light filament for when the AC cycle was at 0volts and so switched the bulb on "slowly" (in relative terms) so lengthening the life of a bulb by 100 times the norm. He wasnt killed off, but sold the patent to a well know lightbulb manufacturer for a huge wad.... and they promptly buried the idea, because they would see a 100 fold reduction in profits.

Now this would be an ideal solution, and a cheap alternative to the Green factions worries about the state of the planet, rather than the ugly, obnoxious and expensive (not to mention poisonous) mercury filled Energy saving lamps we will be forced to buy in the future.
