Water injection - yes or no?

Hi,

imagine you would have a second injection system which would inject WATER instead of fuel.

How would you feel about it?

Re: Water injection - yes or no?

I have a water injection kit but I use a 50/50 water+methanol mix. Not sure how far I would get on 10L as it depends how you drive it as it only injects at high boost.

Rich.

Re: Water injection - yes or no?

I ran 50/50 water methanol on my 924 Turbo Carrera GT spec. Ran much higher boost. I ran it off the washer bottle which was about 7.5l but was not enough for a long run using the washers/wipers.

so you can use it for induction cooling AND washing the buggs off the screen.

awesome!!!

TBH water/methanol injection is often substituted for when an engine isn't properly mapp'd, or your trying to get more out of it than what is really safe.
