I have no intention of turning my car into a cancer box...but people can do wat they want in their own cars...it is their car after all

you can get the asbestos removed so you do have a choice.

What about pollution from cars do you put up with that?Pesticides aswell on your foods (quote from cancer research - Workers exposed to higher levels of pesticides in industry or farming, may be at higher risk of certain cancers, particularly leukaemias and lymphomas. Some scientists think that these chemicals could suppress the immune system in people who are regularly exposed to them.).....& lets not forget (quote from cancer research) 'Lifestyle factors such as smoking, alcohol, obesity, unhealthy diets, inactivity and heavy sun exposure account for a much larger proportion of cancers'. Lets also add oil to the mixing pot ... 'The oil spill caused by Israeli attacks on a Lebanese power plant poses a cancer risk to people in both Lebanon and Syria, the United Nations has warned, the spill as "a high-risk toxic cocktail made up of substances which cause cancer and damage to the endocrine system'.

Its all around us in one way or another

Re: Do you smoke/allow smoking in your car?

I don't smoke and don't allow it in my car either. It stinks and worse it lingers too, even with air fresheners! Also I'm not risking the seats being burnt or ash all over the place.
