(G) any ideas

Hi all, posted yesterday about my car fiat punto 1.1 m reg having a intermittant problem with losing accelaration ( only happened about five times in the last few months) i will be driving and all of a sudden i lose power and feel like i am gonna conk out then the car picks up and will be fine. few people mentioned lambda sensor which i am gonna look into but someone i know has mentioned that they think the problem is down to the fact i only drive the car short journeys and dont get my engine up to temp. I have also read about this on other websites and i am starting to wonder if it is the problem as i dont go far on a daily basis. Has anyone else had this prob and if so how can i sort it. Cheers

As i said in your other post, i think thats a load of crap im lucky if i do 10 miles a day (if that) and my car runs fine even lays there for days and runs perfect..

Edit: Have you checked for headgasket failure symtoms, i wouldint think its that as your saying the car never over heats, mayo white on the oil cap,steemy smoke from the exhaust, oil in your water coolant? And oh yeah, about your handbrake light could just need tighten or try checking brake fluid level in engine bay could be low.
