Modify Front Door Car To House Speaker

Hi

I own a 5 Door Punto SX

I wondered what I would have to do to house some 5" or 6.25" speakers in the front Door cards

At the moment the door cards are plain with no actual speaker housings in them

My car is an electric Windows jobby, is there anything that I can buy to add on to the door cards that doesn't look tacky or is an idea to rebuild them out of mdf or get some Door cards from the breakers with the housing built in

Any suggestions are well appreciated

Thanks

Jamie

Thanks Whitey

Are they the whole door card or add on that screw in?

What is the rough price for a pair of 2nd hand front door cards from scrappies (So I don't get ripped off!)

Thanks mate

Jamie

you shouldnt need the whole card, i think. take the card off the door, and try giving the pod a good pull, i'm sure these arent permanantly attached.

as for cost, dont know, sorry mate

Just to add the 3 door ones of a GT will be too long im afraid so you have to look at something like a 5 door ELX as they have the speaker housing in the doors aswell. Ive got a 3 door and will be looking to do the door card soon so Ill let you know how i got on.
