Question cold starting problem 06 punto

When car is left overnight in garage it will not start unless accelerator is pressed on cranking. Still under warranty but it's a bind to take to dealer? Any suggestions?

Re: cold starting problem 06 punto

Take it to dealer for recall which comprises of ECU software update.Takes 10minutes so grab a coffee while you wait

p.s.You might well get a letter through telling you of this recall in the near future.

Re: cold starting problem 06 punto

So the brand new ones are having problems already.,.,did they give ya any kind of warranty extention or anything?
you wouldnt mind in an old car but to have ECU problems in an 06, kinda makes you wonder what other kind of problems you could have in the future.,.,
dont mean to jinx you or anything.,., hope it goes well for ya!..,,,.,
