Hey, my mates got a punto mk1 1998 sx 1.2 and recently the heater has not been working for ages into a journey, the fan works fine but only blows out cold air, anyone know the problem?? an its kinda cold atm


oooops, realised i said punto twice in the title.

My mum had this problem in her metro, something to do with the electrics, I think??? Bad connection or something.

The problem could be the thermostat. If after driving for a while you get a little heat through the heater then the thermostat could be stuck open. I'd try this first, they're not very expensive and quite easy to change.

Have to agree with fulton try the thermo there only around 12 quid and easy to fit tell yer mate get it sorted quick cause i wouldint think its good for a car thats common with headgasket blowing...
