(G) Fault code/diagnostics??

Hi, returned from having car diagnostics done, and need to know if anyone knows of a site or information re the fault code. The sepcialist is having to wait to call to find out awhat a specific code is, howerver was wondering if the wealth of knowledge her might have a clue for me to look them up.

Network (CAN) error,most U codes are 'pending codes' & can often be ignored...is it a mk2 punto you have? This code is often flagged when key not read correctly,delete it & see if it returns.

How can he delete it T1 by computer or resetting the ECU.. ?

I'd just ignore it aslong as car is fine.

Another code is U1600 that you see regulary but it doesn't really affect car its just aerial never read key which can be simply caused by having loads keys on key rings...i'd only investigate further if problem occuring with that circuit,faulty areial,ecu,code box etc..

Ah thats gret thanks for that, it's going into be serviced tomorow and should hopefully be ok after that! however afm also appeared to be sending up an error aswell which is pretty annoying. however i have recently bought a warranty for it, would the afm be classed as a failure due to wear and tear or just a sudden failure do you think?
