I've posted this in the ICE section but seem to be getting no responce,so I thought I would try in the specific model section.
Could anyone please help with the colour codes as far as the speaker cables are concerned with regard to positive/negative connections.In the handbook;
LEFT DASHBOARD-white/black and red/black
RIGHT DASHBOARD-pink/black and black/purple
LEFT REAR-orange/green and orange /black
RIGHT REAR-light blue/red and light blue/yellow.
I know it does not matter if you connect say the positive leads to the negative terminal on the speakers as long as you are consistent,but the handbook does not state which colours are positive /negative.
Any help appreciated.
Regards
Steven

it dosent matter if your just upgrading your speakers if your putting in amps and the full monty it is important, the punto is wired with standard iso plugs if you could get you hands on any autoleads iso plug the cable will have it written on it what every one is, front left -,etc. they will be different colors but its easily figured out

Having(I believe)solved the colour codes the speakers have now been replaced.
In the front dash Pioneer custom fit TS-875 2 way max 50 watt and in the rear Pioneer TS-E1075 Emotion max 100 watts power.
However the rears ones in particular seem to distort at medium volume and above,are not that crystal clear and appear to be only on a par with the standard Nokia (did not know they made them)originally fitted by Fiat.
Anybody any reasons etc as I'm sure the Pioneer ones are of a far superior quality,or should be.
