(G) Car wont Start

well it will start but ouly from bumbing it, was running fine went into the shops came out and it was dead, all lights working and when i turn the key it goes tick and thats it, but the car will pump, any one had this problem. i think its the starter motor, but just thought i would see wot lot got to say????

Check the earth on the starter motor as a start mate.. Could be that simple. Could even just need a new battery, happened to me on my old cinq, read 12 volts on a meter, and lit up the dash just had no go left in it. Just borrow a battery off someone for half an hour to check that if its all earthed properly
