(G) Head gasket change and now wont start

Hi, first post on the forum, but desperate for help.
1999 T reg 60s 1.2.
I have just changed the head gasket due to loss of water and engine overheating, also seemed to be missfiring. 6 months ago changed coil packs ht leads plugs and new battery. after todays head gasket change, tried to start it and sounded like missfire, re-checked cam and crank marks and adjusted timing (out by one notch), then it wouldnt start at all. As I had already put the head back on, and didnt want to replace the gasket again, I removed belt again and rotated crank through 1 turn and repalced. wouldnt start and sounded very wrong. Went back to my original timing settings and still wont start. all plugs seem to be sparking, starting to lose some hair. Any ideas?

Is the crankcase sensor aligned?

did you notice that the alternator drive pulley has a little hole that a tiny pin goes in? thats a common problem people miss that and don't re fit it in the right place
